SIGMA starts 2025 with a public observing and equipment evening, which is open to non-members. If you have ever wondered what it's like to look through a telescope, here's your chance. Jupiter, Mars and the Moon will be well placed along with numerous other celestial wonders. Also if you have a telescope and you're not sure how to set it up or use it, bring it along. A SIGMA member will be happy to give you some advice.
Observing is of course weather dependant and there will be a back up plan if it's cloudy. So, please don't let poor weather put you off coming.
This event if free, voluntary donations are welcome.
NOTE: UNDER 18's must be accompanied by a Parent or Legal Guardian.
The event starts at 7:30pm at Alves-Hall
Directions to the hall can be found on the links below
