Bishop Peter Eaton and the Consul General of the United Kingdom in Miami are inviting members of the Episcopal Church and the public to a memorial service for Her Late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II at Trinity Cathedral (464 NE 16th Street Miami) on Thursday October 6 2022 at 7 p.m.
There is a large ex-patriate British community as well as a large population of citizens of Commonwealth countries who live in South Florida. This service will provide for our local British and Commonwealth community as well as many US citizens who held Her Late Majesty in high regard the opportunity of attending in person a memorial service for the late Queen.
Mr. Rufus Drabble the Consul General of the United Kingdom in Miami will participate in the service and Bishop Eaton will officiate at the service. The service will include a great deal of the music that was used at Her Late Majesty’s funeral and committal services.
The public is welcome at this service.
The Episcopal Church in Southeast Florida is a member Church of the worldwide Anglican Communion which includes the Church of England. Her Late Majesty’s funeral at Westminster Abbey and the Committal Service at Saint George’s Chapel Windsor were services of the Church of England.
