About this Event
We are excited to announce the 2025 Lower Minnesota River Watershed District (LMRWD) Public Listening Session on Wednesday, January 8, 2025 (1-4pm). This event will be hosted by our Board of Managers in Bloomington, MN. We aim to convene stakeholders and gather core input on a variety of water and natural resources issues and actions to address them.
We need to hear from you! The LMRWD is looking to collect diverse perspectives on themes including flooding, climate change, water storage, natural mitigation strategies, the financial costs of flooding, and the costs and benefits of proposed solutions. The LMRWD Board of Managers will use listening session testimony for multiple purposes including its 2025 legislative agenda, the next generation Watershed Management Plan, and establishing partnerships to address large-scale challenges.
Participants may either sign up to speak at the listening session or listen to learn. We thank you for your interest in protecting shared resources and looking forward to seeing you at this important event to kick off the new year.
