Meet at The Point Cafe at Lennox on Ballina Street before walking towards the coast and onto Pat Morton Lookout. We then take the Coastal Walk along to Skennars Head and Flat Rock. We'll have some short breaks so if anyone wants an easier walk they can return back to Lennox. From Flat Rock we continue on Angula beach, Black Head, lunch and our final beaches before reaching Ballina.
The walk has some short step climbs over headlands, but rewards with stunning coastal views and plenty of options to refill water and use toilets.
The full walk is almost 15km, and makes for a really nice day walk with morning tea and lunch stops along the way. There might be a chance to cool off so bring bathers if keen. We are walking south to avoid walking into the sun and has better transport times.
Preparations:
Wear comfortable walking shoes. A good level of fitness to complete the walk. At least 2 liters of water, sunscreen, insect repellent, hat , bathers or wet weather gear depending on conditions. Morning tea and lunch to enjoy along the walk. Toilets along the walk.

You can park at Ballina and take 640 bus leaving 8am to Lennox arriving 8.15am. There are also buses from Ballina back to Lennox.
