The City of Green Bay, Wisconsin is in the process of preparing a “Consolidated Strategy and Plan for Housing and Community Development” covering federal fiscal years 2025-2029. As a part of the Consolidated Plan, the City of Green Bay, Wisconsin will also be preparing an “Annual Action Plan for Housing and Community Development” covering the federal fiscal year 2025.The Consolidated Plan is a document which will guide the use of federal housing and community development funds within the City of Green Bay resulting in a viable community with decent housing and suitable living environments and expanding economic opportunities, primarily for persons of low and moderate income. The Annual Action Plan is a document which will guide the use of 2025 Federal Housing and Community Development funds within the City of Green Bay furthering the goals of the Consolidated Plan.
The Redevelopment Authority of the City of Green Bay will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, November 20, 2024, at 6:00 p.m., in the auditorium of the Brown County Central Library, 515 Pine Street, Green Bay, WI 54301 and virtually. The public is invited and encouraged to comment on the housing and community development needs and problems for the City of Green Bay. Views and comments received during the hearing will be considered during the development of the Consolidated Strategy and Plan along with the Annual Action Plan.
