NJDEP is planning to hold a public hearing on this draft permit on December 19, 2024, at the Trenton Ancient Order of Hibernians located at 2419 Kuser Rd, Hamilton Township, NJ 08690. The public hearing will start at 6:00 PM and end by 9:00 PM.
Anyone interested in speaking at the public hearing is strongly recommended to sign up to speak by emailing the NJDEP at [email protected] with the title of this Public Notice as the Subject item of the email. Or, if you do not have access to email, please call 609-292-6722 for further assistance. As necessary, the meeting will be extended until all persons present have had the opportunity to present their comments.
At the public hearing, written and oral comments will be accepted by the Department. This hearing is not intended to be a question-and-answer session, but rather an opportunity for interested individuals to comment on the draft permit. Therefore, NJDEP representatives will not respond to technical questions at the public hearing, but instead, will listen intently and take notes on the oral comments in order to address each issue raised accurately in a Response to Comment document. Each commenter will have at least three minutes to speak. The exact amount of time provided to each speaker will be announced at the hearing. Comments must be limited in scope to the contents of the draft permit and the regulatory authority under the Air Pollution Control Act of Chapter 106, P.L. 1967 (N.J.S.A. 26:2C-1 et. seq.) and the state regulations promulgated at N.J.A.C. 7:27.
