A public hearing is scheduled for THURSDAY, APRIL 17*, from 5:30-7:30 p.m. in the ECEC Multipurpose Room. The hearing is to review proposed changes to the Child Care Development Fund (CCDF). The ECEC receives federal funding from CCDF, which, among many things, is used to subsidize the Extended Day program at the ECEC and also the Certificate Program. Your input is needed to discuss proposed changes to the services impacted by CCDF.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND
Members of the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community are invited, as are all Native American families residing in the CCDF service area: Mesa, Tempe, Phoenix, Scottsdale, and Glendale.
*This hearing will be streamed live on the Salt River Schools Facebook page; a recording of the livestream will be posted to the ECEC website. Feedback will be accepted and considered through a specific time period after the public hearing, so if you can't make this time, you will be able to watch a recording of the hearing and submit feedback post-event.
