Join us for a solidarity walk to demand more money for public healthcare and less destruction of our Greenbelt from highways. With the estimated $10B that it will cost to build the Bradford Bypass and the 413, we could hire more nurses, family doctors and specialists. We could invest in our future rather than destroy it.The walk will be roughly a total of 1 km and will take place over paved walkways for increased accessibility. You can choose to bring a sign to walk with, make one at our event or walk without one.
The event will be taking place rain or shine, so please come dressed appropriately for the weather.
