About this Event
Community Engagement Center Public Health Fair
The Community Engagement Center is hosting our 2nd Annual Public Health Fair on Saturday, April 12th. The event is open to all community members, staff, faculty, and students. There will be music, healthy food, and health focused organizations participating to provide education and resources to promote a healthy community.
The fair is made possible by our Public Health (PH) pillar, which exists to advance health equity, empower communities, and promote social justice. Through interdisciplinary coursework and hands-on experiences, students work directly with local communities to address health disparities and advocate for marginalized populations. By harnessing collective power and partnering with the community, the program equips students with the knowledge and skills needed to drive systemic change and create healthier, more equitable communities.
