Sorting Species: What makes a mammal different from a reptile? Or a bird different from an amphibian? Explore the Zoo to observe animals and then discuss their similarities and differences to determine how they are classified.
This Zoo Educator-led program lasts 90 minutes, but feel free to stay as long as you wish.
Your payment of $22/person includes the program AND your zoo admission.
LUNCH: Bringing external food into the zoo is allowed. No glass containers.
Please be on time, arriving at the main gate 15 minutes early. We will enter as a group. Angela Pilcher is your check-in lead. She will be wearing her blue Unite Homeschool t-shirt or holding a Unite Homeschool flag and will have your entry tickets/passes.
Etiquette
No shoes with built-in wheels.
No glass containers.
No shouting at animals or tapping on habitat glass.
No feeding animals or throwing anything into enclosures.
Children under age 12 must be accompanied by an adult at all times while on zoo property.

Cherokee Avenue parking lot: 800 Cherokee Avenue, S.E., Atlanta GA 30315
Grant Park Gateway parking facility: 759 Boulevard S.E., Atlanta GA 30312

Rates will be $3 an hour for a maximum of $12 a day.
Sometimes free parking is available on nearby side streets.
