The first Tuesday of every month is Public Domain Movie Night at Bierock.
On Tuesday April 2nd, Bierock will host a screening of The Jackie Robinson Story, a biographical film from 1950.
This is part of our baseball-centric day at Bierock, following a public viewing of the Milwaukee Brewers home opener at 3:00 p.m. on our big projection screen TV.
The brief synopsis from Turner Classic Movies sets the scene…
"Jackie Robinson plays himself in this true story of the man who broke Major League Baseball’s color barrier."
This movie is being screened in advance of Jackie Robinson Day, observed every April 15 by Major League Baseball when every participating player wears No. 42.
Movie start time is at 8:00 p.m. Admission is free and open to the public.
Bierock’s full food and drink menu are available the night of the event.
Located at 2911 N. Sherman Ave., Bierock is part of the Northside TownCenter and across the street from Warner Park.
