Public Disco After Dark takes place at The Birdhouse, a cherished Queer and Trans run event space in Mount Pleasant. All are welcome to experience the vibrant atmosphere at The Birdhouse during our event, however, it is important to note that violence, racism, transphobia, sexism, or any other discriminatory language or actions will not be tolerated. Together, let's create a safe and welcoming space for everyone to enjoy.

The Buddy System is a grassroots effort to combat rape culture and enhance the safety of our queer events. CONSENT IS SEXY -- AND MANDATORY! Buddies will be wearing **NEON T-SHIRTS**. Our Buddies are NARCAN trained, and are carrying sealed water bottles, condoms, lube, granola bars, tampons, and more. They will run interference if someone is receiving unwanted attention, can help folks in need find a way home, and generally serve as go-to support people should any problems arise.

At Public Disco Society, we recognize that our events and gatherings primarily take place on the traditional, ancestral, and unceded territories of the Musqueam, Squamish, and Tsleil-Waututh Nations. We honor and respect the Indigenous peoples who have stewarded these lands for generations and continue to do so today.
