Public Archaeology Dig Day at the Berry Site

Spring Dig Day, May 3, YOU MUST REGISTER to PARTICIPATE
Dig Days take place at the Berry site, outside of Morganton, NC, so everybody has a chance to participate in the discovery of Fort San Juan and Joara. This is a fun, casual workday, so while we
do want to be productive, the most important part is that people are able to enjoy themselves. We have 5 Dig Days scheduled this Spring, and they are all accepting registrations.
Dig Day Details
Dig Days are on Saturdays from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm, please see the events calendar for more dates. Once you register, a confirmation email with details and directions will be sent. You must be 16 years of age or older to participate (younger explorers ages 10-15 must be accompanied by a paid adult). No experience is necessary. Participants may enroll for one or more of the scheduled dates. These days are weather dependent and need a minimum of 4 people registered. Cost is $15.00 per day, or $5.00 for current Friends of EJF.
