Puberty and periods shouldn’t feel like something you’re left to figure out alone.A young person’s body is changing — and both moms and daughters deserve real answers, real clarity, and a space where everything finally makes sense.
Crucial Conversations On: Puberty & The Menstrual Cycle is an in-person class designed to help families understand what’s happening in the body and build the confidence to talk about it openly. If you’ve been unsure how to start these conversations — or want your daughter to learn accurate, shame-free information — this class is for you.
Together, we’ll make puberty and periods understandable.
We’ll break down physical and emotional changes in a way that actually clicks. You’ll learn what the menstrual cycle is (and isn’t), why it matters, how hormones shift throughout the month, and what symptoms are completely normal during this stage of development. We’ll talk honestly about cramps, flow changes, mood shifts, and the practical options available to help girls feel prepared — not overwhelmed.
We’ll also cover how to tell normal symptoms from concerning ones, how to choose menstrual products with comfort and confidence, and what every girl should know before considering birth control or hormone pills. By the end, both moms and daughters will know exactly what’s typical, what’s not, and how to support a healthy transition into adolescence.
Then we take it one step further.
You’ll leave with tools to track cycles, understand symptoms, build healthy habits, and have ongoing conversations that feel natural — not awkward. This class gives families language, direction, and clarity: the kind girls deserve, but rarely receive.
