Get the whānau together and come over for a day of fun activities!Weave a kite (manu aute), enjoy waiata with Tenaya Brown and the sounds of taoka puoro (traditional Māori instruments) with Dr Jennifer Cattermole, experience the Waka Whetū Matariki visual showcase by Otago Polytechnic, make your own poi at our makerspace, and have a go at mau rākau (Māori traditional martial arts) in a workshop led by Jade Morgan.
All that and more will be on offer during Matariki at Tūhura Otago Museum.
Most activities are free and some require a booking.
