Ready to Ride in the Tri-State Fair Parade? Join us on Saturday September 13th
We'll be parking in the lot on the corner of 11th & Harrison directly across from First Presbyterian Church and behind the Whittenburg Lawfirm Office.
We ask that you plan to arrive between 8:00-8:30am so you have time to get your horse into their appropriate parade dress (see below) The Parade will begin at 10am
Parade Dress Required for Rider and Horse
Parade begins at 10am and will ride through downtown Amarillo.
Horses, ponies, mules & donkeys welcome! Ride your trusty mount or drive your cart/buggy!
This years theme: "SADDLE UP, IT’S A CENTURY "
Rider/Driver Dresscode:
White Button-down Long Sleeve Shirt
Royal Blue Club Vest
Blue Wild Rag
Cowboy Hat or Helmet recommend (No baseball caps)
Blue or Black Jeans (no holes)
Boots with a riding heel
(Riders under 18 are not required to wear a vest but may if they can fit in one)
Horse/Buggy Dresscode:
Blue Saddle Blanket (not required for Carts)
Blue Polo Wraps ( OR Self Adhesive Wrap provided by club)
Blue or Silver Hoof Glitter
2 Blue & Sliver Saddle Tassels on rear Concho or on "saddle" rigging (provided by club)
Horses must be clean, well shod/trimmed and free of wounds.
Horses and buggies may carry MORE decoration but must have at least the base listed above.
Parade Prep Ride on Rock Island & 6th Street to be held at 9am on Sunday September 7th. 4 mile loop.
Park in the lot on the corner of 7th & Crockett for the Prep Ride.
