A Historic Milestone: PTPT Finds Its Home
PTPT Studio is thrilled to invite the entire Wilmington arts community to celebrate the opening of our permanent training hub at the iconic Historic Thalian Hall!
We are honored to be the first commercial renter in the over 160-year history of the building, solidifying our mission to bring elite and accessible performing arts training and mentorship to aspiring creators right here in the heart of our city.
This event is more than a tour—it's a celebration of the future of theatre education in Wilmington!
What to Expect at the Open House:
Join us for an evening of celebration, tours, announcements, and a look at the incredible talent developed in our programs.
5:00 PM: Doors Open & Meet the Faculty
Message from the CEO: Hear directly from Founder & CEO Emilia Torello about the vision and commitment PTPT brings to Thalian Hall.
Meet Our Mentors: Engage with our professional faculty and Department Chairs (Acting, Dance, Musical Theatre) to learn about the rigorous curriculum and our commitment to paying artists fairly.
Studio Tour: Tour our beautiful, dedicated training and rehearsal space within the Hall.
7:00 PM: Major Announcements & Celebration
2026 Apprentice Season Reveal! Be the first to hear the exciting lineup of shows for the inaugural PTPT Apprentice Theatre Season.
The Community Wall: See the unveiling of our PTPT Community Wall, showcasing the professional work and collective expertise of our community of professional artists.
Post-Reveal: Bye Bye Birdie Watch Party
We will conclude the evening with a special viewing party of the Apprentice Theatre’s incredible production of Bye Bye Birdie, celebrating the hard work and artistry of our Apprentices!
