About this Event
Join us for an engaging and thought-provoking conference, Psychoanalysis on the Margins, where we explore the profound impact of psychoanalytic practice on those at the fringes of society and within the broader context of mental healthcare in Ireland. This event will bring together leading experts to discuss how psychoanalysis can be a transformative force for marginalized individuals and the place of psychoanalysis in the evolving landscape of mental health services.
We are delighted to welcome John Foden, John O'Connor and Laura Tarafas as our panelists on the day.
Following the panel discussion , there will be an interactive Q&A session, offering attendees the opportunity to engage with the speakers, ask questions, and share insights about the complexities of supporting marginalized communities and working in mainstream healthcare with a psychoanalytic framework.
This is an essential event for anyone interested in the intersection of psychoanalysis and marginalized populations, as well as the future of psychoanalysis in Ireland. Don’t miss the opportunity to be part of these crucial discussions and to help shape the future of psychoanalytic practice.
