Join us for an evening to mingle and talk about psychedelic access with speaker Jesse Maclachlan, an experienced advocate and former CT Rep.
About this Event

Please join us for our in-person event hosted by Clarity Project on Friday June 7 at 6-8pm. The tickets are a sliding scale of $25-100, all proceeds going to support our work to establish therapeutic psychedelic access in Hawaiʻi.

The event will include mingling, a DJ, along with a guest speaker and update on our work. Plant Based Paradise on site will have their food & drink menu open for everyone. Tickets include a mushroom cacao elixir from Mālama Mushrooms for all attendees.

Speaker Info:

  • Jesse MacLachlan, State Policy and Advocacy Director, Reason for Hope
  • Jesse serves as State Policy and Advocacy Director at Reason for Hope, a national suicide prevention non-profit. He has lead and advised on advocacy efforts in several states to create working groups, pilot programs, and unlock funding to support medical infrastructure for psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy. He believes that psychedelic medicine and assisted therapies should be safe, affordable, and equitably accessible to the public. Prior to joining Reason for Hope, Jesse was elected to serve in the Connecticut State House of Represenatives in 2014 at 24 years of age, where he served until 2021. Jesse founded his sustainability consultancy after managing a large portfolio of commercial solar assets. Jesse also currently sits on the board of directors at the Connecticut Project, a non-profit focused on creating a more just and equitable Connecticut. He considers himself a lifelong learner and is grateful for the many blessings in his life. He enjoys reading, visiting national parks, playing guitar, cooking, hot yoga, brazilian jiu-jitsu, meditation, and video games. He lives in the lower Connecticut River Valley with his partner Ellie and their dog Koda.
