Dates: October 21st-23rd, 2024, with a special workshops day on October 24th (Grof Breathwork, Art-Making and Navigating Safe Touch)
Location: The Pipe Shop, nestled in the traditional and unceded territories of the səl̓ilwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations, North Vancouver.

About the Event:
Psychedelic Psychotherapy Forum 2024 is a convergence of minds, hearts, and spirits dedicated to exploring the intersections of science, spirituality, and ethical practices in the realm of psychedelic therapy and plant medicine.
Audience:
Expecting over 300 healthcare professionals, healers, psychedelic practitioners, registered and unregistered guides and facilitators, knowledge keepers, caretakers, patients, and other enthusiasts, our audience represents a diverse tapestry of individuals committed to holistic well-being and cultural sensitivity.
Highlights:
- Practitioner Days: October 21st & 22nd - Featuring panels, round table discussions, and group workshops tailored for professionals.
- Reception Evening: October 22nd - An inviting space curated for an evening of Movement, Socializing, and Music
- Public Day: October 23rd - Open to all, offering insightful talks, engaging panels, enriching workshops, and interactive booths.
- Bringing Art-Making Into Psychedelic Psychotherapy: October 24th in Mount Pleasant - Led by Dr. Bruce Tobin, this experiential workshop introduces clinicians to the use and merits of art-making activities (using oil pastel crayons on paper) within the psychedelic psychotherapy process.
- Navigating Safe Touch Workshop Day: October 24th in Gastown - Led by Rich Tyo, this workshop will revolve around the safe use of touch, providing you with practical approaches that will support you in using (or not using) touch with the folks you work with.
- Grof Breathwork Workshop Day: October 24th in Gastown - Led by Dr. Ingrid Pacey and Dr. Neil Hannon, this workshop will run from 8am to 8pm focusing on Grof Breathwork. Use this to dive deeper and integrate your conference experience. Limited space available.
Conference Goals:
1. Rooted Wisdom: Our aim is to delve into the rich history of psychedelic therapy and honour past teachings. By exploring the roots of this field, we seek to glean insights and wisdom that can inform our present practices and shape our future endeavours. Through this exploration, we hope to pay homage to the legacy of knowledge passed down through past generations and cultures, fostering a deeper understanding of the therapeutic potential of psychedelics.
2. Nourishing Connection: We aspire to create a space that welcomes individuals of all backgrounds, whether they are seasoned experts or newcomers to the field. By fostering a sense of connection and inclusivity, we aim to provide a platform for meaningful dialogue, collaboration, and learning. Our goal is to cultivate a supportive community where diverse voices are valued and respected, enriching the collective experience of all participants at the conference and beyond.
3. Cultivating Action: Our ultimate objective is to inspire action and integration beyond the conference. We seek to empower attendees to incorporate the teachings and insights gained during the event into their professional practices and personal lives. We will explore topics from cultural responsiveness and inclusivity to psychedelic therapy in workplace settings, our forum covers a broad spectrum of subjects including legal access, integration practices, holistic wellness models, ethical practices and more.
