ArtsMatter, PST ART, Cal State University Dominguez Hills, and East Yard Communities for a Better Environment have partnered to host a FREE Family Day for local community members to enjoy a unique and exciting PST ART exhibition!
FREE transportation, lunch, gallery tour, artmaking, film screening, and more for the whole family!

California State University, Dominguez Hills (CSUDH) University Art Gallery located inside LaCorte Hall.
PARKING
50 parking passes for Lot 6 will be made available on a first come, first serve basis. To access Lot 6, turn off East Victoria Street on to Toro Center Drive which leads to Lot 6.
TRANSPORTATION
For families that prefer not to drive, you're invited to travel by private bus to CSUDH for FREE!
To ride the bus, meet at East Yard Communities for a Better Environment (2317 S. Atlantic Blvd, Commerce, CA 90040) at 10:30AM on Saturday 11/2 for departure at 11:00AM to CSUDH.
FREE parking is available at the lot located on the corner of Atlantic and Jardine Street next to Bandidi Market (2313 S. Atlantic Blvd, Commerce, CA 90040).
All families riding the bus must sign a waiver before boarding the bus (available in English and Spanish)

Explore Brackish Water Los Angeles: Inspired by the dynamic sites where fresh and ocean waters intermix, this exhibit looks at the unique environments formed by the collision of water courses in the region, past and present.
From 12:00PM - 1:00PM, attendees can conduct a self-guided exhibit tour.
From 1:00PM - 2:00PM, join Aandrea Stang and Debra Scacco for a curator-led exhibit tour.
Art making activity with CSUDH Biochar Supercapacitor Research Group: An interactive biochar-based paint workshop that explores how carbon can be captured and repurposed while painting and making fun science-themed potato stamp art.
Art making activity with Katherine Clark, ArtsMatter/UCLA VAPAE: A creative collage workshop to imagine our connection to local waterways.
2:00PM-3:00PM
Sacred Spaces Film Screening (English only) followed by panel discussion and Q&A.
