Info: Jenny Turner has worked for the City of Derby for twenty-five years and has been the Director of Human Resources for the last twenty years. During her twenty years in HR, she has worked to establish best practices for the City including making annual updates to the Personnel Policy Manual and Safety Manual, evaluating job descriptions, and conducting pay studies for all city positions at least once every 3 years. She also developed a Supervisor Manual to guide supervisors with numerous aspects of their jobs. Under her leadership the City has developed and maintained an award-winning wellness program, moved to a 4.5-day work week (for several departments), and has developed alternative work schedules for employees, which serve as a model for other municipalities. In addition, she has developed new and innovative policies and practices aimed at improving work-life balance and reducing turnover.

Info: Phil is one of the principal owners and a driving force at TAG. He works closely with clients to enhance their HR programs by delivering customized workforce solutions, most notably having developed the C3 Compensation Blueprint. With a background in HR Management and a Master’s in Management Information Systems, combined with over 25 years of experience, Phil has been honored as both Wichita and Kansas HR Professional of the Year.
