Join the PSG during our November meeting Tuesday 11/11/25. Our guest speaker John Veil will discuss aspects of his fishing efforts, and the declining numbers of perch and stripers. An avid kayak angler and fishing book author from Annapolis. John fishes an average of 200 days each year. He keeps detailed daily records of his fishing trips, including where he fished and the numbers of fish of all species he caught that day. He recently compiled statistics of his striper and perch catches from 2021-2025. Both species show significant declines. The talk, “Declining Numbers of Stripers and Perch” will review his data on both species. He will then give some information about several types of new-to-him tackle he has used over the past year or two with good success. The talk next describes several tackle management and saving tips. It concludes with photos of some of the larger or more exotic fish he caught over the past year. A wonderful angler with lots of information to share.Meetings are held at Crab Towne U. S. A. Doors open at 6:00 PM and the meeting will start at 7:00 PM.
