On Saturday, Oct. 5, Manchester is hosting a Prostate- Specific Antigen (PSA) Blood Testing Event at the Justice Center from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. This simple test is crucial for detecting prostate cancer early, especially since early stages often show no symptoms. The event is put on by the Program for the Elimination of Cancer Disparities (PECaD), a partnership including Washington University School of Medicine, Siteman Cancer Center, and BJC Healthcare. A medical professional will administer the test, and results will be sent by mail, unless the results are abnormal.
