Our Pool is the reason the PSA was started 50 years ago, and it still exists today to help raise funds to keep the pool running. Schools are not required to give weekly lessons to children of all ages but we believe it is vital to use our pool to help children to learn to swim from an early age.
It costs over £20k a year to run the pool - and we create fundraising events to make sure that money does not come out of the school budget!
As such we’re always on the look out for new team members, and hope you will be keen to join, we meet on average once a month for an 1.5hr meeting either at the school or a local pub! We run an event on average every term. We want a full and bustling PSA to help lighten the load so people can dip in and out when it fits in with their busy lives.
