Merry Christmas tells the tale of a newlywed couple, Benjamin and Isabela Carter, whose lives have just been turned upside down by World War II. Benjamin has been drafted to serve overseas in the US Army and Isabella is left to face the uncertainty and challenges at home. Separated by thousands of miles and facing many new twists and turns, the couple sends letters back and forth throughout the month of December, hoping that Benjamin will make it home in time for Christmas, always ending with “P.S. Merry Christmas”. This bittersweet tale of hope in the midst of uncertainty will be sure to remind you of the true meaning of Christmas and the joy we might have in difficult times.
