If you want HANDS-ON pruning practice, then welcome to PART 2 of our Pruning series!
First, we'll discuss correctly using and maintaining the various pruning tools for residential landscapes (pruning snips, loppers, Japanese saws).
Second, we'll work on designated trees and shrubs on the two-acre property at the Columbus Garden School. Practice plants may include forsythia, viburnum, hydrangea, dogwood, burning bush, boxwood, honeysuckle, and fruit trees. You'll complete this class knowing the right -- and wrong -- way to make basic pruning cuts! Knowledge can turn a chore into a creative pleasure.
Class size is limited to 6 students, and is held outside for the full hour. Correctly worn PPE masks are mandatory when we are in close proximity.
Class fee $15
