Pruning Basics

K. Ruby, of Faerie Road Farm, will provide an overview of the process, learning about tree biology, timing, tree structure, tools and proper cuts. Then we will learn to prune in a step-by-step process that even a beginner can follow. We’ll touch on restoration pruning and establishing young trees. A tour of the orchard and handout will be included in the course.
