Monday, March 10 - TIWLT gardening team & volunteers are pruning the trees in the Arboretum. At the same time, we’ll be collecting prunings for propagation.Thursday, March 13 - propagation will happen by the heated bin method in our greenhouse.
Both days are a great introduction to pruning techniques and an opportunity to learn about the anatomy of a tree and how it relates to pruning.
On Monday, we will take all morning to prune and then gather in the Glen Elbe house for lunch. During lunch, we will have a presentation on trees & pruning. We invite you to bring your own lunch.
