Admission: $5 suggested donation or pay what you can. No one is turned away for lack of funds.
The open mic is open to artists of all genres, and all-ages! Bring your stories, songs, prose, poems, music, we want to hear it!

Mckendy Fils-Aimé is a Haitian-American poet, organizer, and educator. He is a nine-time veteran and perennial semi-finalist of the National Poetry Slam, where he has represented venues from Massachusetts and New Hampshire. He is a former artist in residence at MassLEAP and the Art Alliance of Northern New Hampshire and has received fellowships from Callaloo and Cave Canem. Recently, Mckendy was nominated for best poetry performance at the 2023 NorthBeast Regional Poetry Slam and was a runner-up for the 2024 Granite State Poetry Prize. His work has appeared or is forthcoming in American Literary Review, Bellingham Review, The Shore, The Journal, and elsewhere. He lives in Lowell, MA.
