The Lobster Pot Christmas Tree is an Annual Holiday Tradition in Provincetown, MA. Local lobstermen share over 120 lobster traps for the 2 story tall, brightly decorated "Tree". We are proud to celebrate its 20th lighting in the heart of Provincetown.

The Tree will be built by the Popko family and wonderful volunteer friends in Honor of Julian Popko (1938-2017), who created the first Tree in 2003 with his family, and built it for the town every year. His incredible light will still shine brightly!
Our first "official" lighting was in 2004, it was small, with about 20 visitors who happened to be passing by. Now the entire Lopes Sq is FULL of wonderful visitors spreading joy from near and far!
