About this Event
As part of our ongoing commitment to fostering diversity and inclusivity through the healthcare services we provide. We would like to share an upcoming training/workshop organised by EMPOWER an Elsevier’s project.
EMPOWER is an Elsevier initiative that aims to improve patient outcomes by increasing the awareness of diverse and inclusive content in healthcare. NUH has a paid subscription to Elsevier’s clinical key that provides standardised medical knowledge across the organisation to promote consistent evidence-based practices. The clinical key supports healthcare professionals and students with the latest evidence across specialties in a variety of formats, including full-text reference books and journals, synoptic content, drug information, videos, practice guidelines, customized patient education handouts and much more.
Our membership also gives us access to trainings and workshops in making healthcare more inclusive. The workshop will consist of a 45-minute session followed by 15 minutes of Q&A, ideally conducted onsite for maximum participation and interaction.
