Join us...if you DARE! The 11th Annual Providence Monster Dash 5K & Kids Dash is set for Sunday, October 27th in Downtown Providence! Kids Dash will start at 9:30am followed by the 5K Run/Walk at 10am.Celebrate Halloween FUN with loved ones and run or walk this FUN Halloween 5K. This year's race features individual and group costume contests featuring CASH prizes (full details on race website)! After the race, join us for the Post-Race Monster BASH! Location TBA.
The course historically travels through a zombie-infested RIPTA bus tunnel, adding an extra fun element to the race. As many of you know, the tunnel is under construction and our friends at RIPTA have let us know the project is on schedule to finish by mid-September, which is great news! We will share updates as they become available.
This event also includes a Kids Race, which is one of our largest of the year. Approximately 400m and open to kids 12 and under, this is another chance to wear those amazing costumes!

Looking for an extra challenge this fall? The Providence Monster Dash 5K also serves as the second race in the Run Rhody Grand Slam, a four-race series from September through December.
Select the Grand Slam bundle at registration and save on the Downtown 5K, Providence Monster Dash, Rhode Island Family Turkey Trot, and Downtown Jingle 5K entry fees.
Please note, the first race of the series, the IGT Downtown 5K, is on Sunday, September 15th.
Complete the four-race series and earn the 2024 Run Rhody Grand Slam finisher’s medal as well as a Run Rhody hat!
