Are you interested in trying a new sport that involves roller skating, high speed, contact and an amazing community? Come to Stockholm Roller Derby’s Prova-På on the 24th of April and find out what Roller Derby is all about!At the event you'll get the chance to try out skating on quad roller skates (the retro 80s kind!) and talk to some of the lovely coaches at Stockholm Roller Derby, who will be there to give you tips and answer any questions that you might have.
WHO??
Everyone over 16 years of age is welcome, this is just a chance to try the sport, so no matter if you think you want to play or officiate, this is the event for you! If you have previous skating experience - great! If you haven't - not an issue, we'll teach you! This event is also the first practice in our crash course, which is ten week course covering basic rules and gameplay of Flat Track Roller Derby. The course is open to all genders, but please note that we follow the WFTDA gender policy for skaters and for contact drills during the crash course.

WHERE AND WHEN??
Wednesday 24th of April , 20:00 to 22:00 in Västertorps sim- och idrottshall.
HOW?
On skates! And with all the proper protection gear! We will have gear to lend out, but if you have your own (quad skates, wristguards, helmet, kneepads and elbow pads) we much appreciate if you bring it. If you have some of these but not all, bring what you have!
