About this Event
What does it mean to be a proud ally – not just in words, but in action?
This session led by Curious Arts, is a practical, open and affirming introduction to LGBTQIA+ allyship. Whether you’re just getting started or want to build more confidence in your allyship, this is a space to learn, ask questions and think deeply about what inclusive practice really looks like.
We’ll cover the Equality Act, inclusive language, lived experience, intersectionality and the importance of creating safe, supportive spaces for LGBTQIA+ people in our creative and community work. You don’t need to be an expert. You just need to be open, respectful and ready to learn.
