Formed in the fall of 2021, Protohive members Tyler Bruce Hickman(guitar/vocals), Phillip Wayne Hickman(bass/vocals), Sean Bing(guitar/vocals), and Chase Comstock(drums) came together with the aim of writing riff-centric, groove-laden jams, reminiscent of all the bluesy, sludgy, headbanging friendly music they grew up with and love.
