Linda McMahon, former WWE CEO, $4.56 Million dollar Trump campaign donor and Trump’s new Secretary of Education is coming to Colorado Springs to speak at the Colorado Leaders for Academic Success Summit on her “Returning Education to the States Tour”. McMahon and Trump have dismantled the Department of Education and slashed the Department’s workforce in half leaving a backlog of civil rights complaints. Eliminating the federal oversight of schools and privatizing education will harm Colorado’s students and not help them. Other notable mentions at the Summit are Kristi Burton-Brown, former CO GOP Chair, and our own Representative Rose Pugliese.
