It is time to protest outside the Embassy of I. R. of Iran in Wellington. Let's gather together on Friday 28 Oct at 12pm, to say loud and clear:Enough with the ongoing bloodshed and arrests;
Enough with the intimidation and torture of women, children, school pupils and the protestors;
Enough with the belief that a government is superior to its own people and has no accountability whatsoever towards them;
Enough with the lies and the pretence that nothing ever is their fault;
Enough with the assumption it is OK to steal women's freedom of choice and dictate step by step how they should live, act and be;
Enough with the nationwide oppression of our people: our different ethnic groups, minorities and gender identities...
etc, etc
We live in a country that we have the right to protest, let's exercise that right remembering our compatriots in Iran tragically get killed, injured or arrested exercising the same right. Together we are stronger. See you there!
