Join us on Saturday, June 25th, at 6pm at Showfields (NOHO) as we celebrate the organ of longevity, muscle, and how to get the most of it!
About this Event

This month, we are tackling one of the most confusing topics in nutrition, protein. Protein is one of the most essential macronutrients and the building blocks to building lean muscle, your amino acid reservoir. Dietary recommendations for how much protein and what the best source is vary wildly, and with good reason: protein requirements should be customized to the individual based on their lifestyle and dietary preferences.

We’re all unique, we come in all shapes and sizes, training styles, and of course, dietary preferences. This month, we’re going to bridge our differences and learn from one of the most respected protein gurus on the planet, , as she delivers the ultimate guide on how to calculate and hit your protein numbers on any diet.

We'll also be joined by , CEO/Founder of PRTL (formerly HACKD Fitness) to give us her take on the mindset you'll need to carry you to ultimate health. Also joining the night will be , CEO/Founder of The DNA Company to give us the low down on individualized nutrition based on your DNA profile. All fascinating stuff!

Dr. Lyon received her doctorate in osteopathic medicine from the Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine and is board-certified in family medicine. She earned her undergraduate degree in Human Nutrition from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign where she studied vitamin and mineral metabolism, chronic disease prevention and management and the physiological effects of diet composition. She also completed a research/clinical fellowship in Nutritional Science and Geriatrics at Washington University in St. Louis. Dr. Lyon has her own podcast, The Dr. Gabrielle Lyon Show.

Pamela Gold is the founder of PRTL, formerly HACKD Fitness, NYC's first biohacking fitness studio and an expert in minimum effective dose fitness, integrated (physical, mental, and energetic) fitness and biohacking. Pam grew up on her family’s apple farm in upstate New York, graduated from Yale University, and then entered the business world in NYC where she was the point person on an IPO at the age of 24. After struggling with weight postpartum, went on to pursue her passion for fitness and wellness. It was through this pursuit that she discovered yoga, which connected her love of philosophy, science, psychology, and wellness. She is the author of Find More Strength: 5 Pillars to Unlock Unlimited Power and Happiness in 2 weeks and in 2022, PRTL is expanding its NYC presence. Pam is due to release her forthcoming book, Timeless in Less Time: 12 Weeks to Optimized Fitness for Life, in Fall 2022.

Kashif Khan is Chief Executive Officer and Founder of The DNA Company, where personalized medicine is being pioneered through unique insights into the human genome. He is also the host of the Unpilled podcast. Growing up in Vancouver, Canada in an immigrant household, Kashif developed an industrious entrepreneurial spirit from a young age. Prior to his tenure at the DNA Company, Kashif advised a number of high-growth start-ups in a variety of industries. As Kashif dove into the field of functional genomics as the CEO of The DNA Company, it was revealed that his neural wiring was actually genetically designed to be entrepreneurial. However, his genes also revealed a particular sensitivity to pollutants. Now seeing his health from a new lens Kashif dove further and started to see the genetic pathways that led to his own family’s challenges, and the opportunities to reverse chronic disease. His measure of success is not in dollars earned, but in lives improved.
