It is the power of the united moral forces of the world…” Today, this mission of peace continues around the globe. Since 1948, United Nations Peacekeepers have worked to separate warring parties and to protect people from the effects of armed conflict.Join us for a panel featuring international military officers currently studying at the U.S. Army Command and General Staff College, where they discuss their most challenging and rewarding experiences and the questions surrounding the responsibility of protecting civilians and peace. The discussion will be followed by a brief wreath-laying ceremony on the Paul Sunderland Glass Bridge in honor of fallen U.N. Peacekeepers.
