Protecting Our Waters: Preserving Marine Life from Lawn to DockFort Lauderdale’s waterways are among our community’s greatest assets—but they are also among the most vulnerable. From residential lawns and stormwater runoff to boat docks and canal systems, everyday choices directly affect marine life and the vegetation that sustains it.
At our February 19 Fort Lauderdale Forum, three expert speakers will come together for an engaging panel discussion on how we can better protect marine ecosystems in our local canals, rivers, and waterways, while continuing to enjoy waterfront living responsibly.

Environmentally responsible approaches to dock construction, maintenance, lighting, and boating activity that protect aquatic ecosystems.
