Our votes hold power, otherwise they wouldn’t subvert them. We must raise our voices in the 2026 midterms and elect leaders who represent all of us, not just the billionaires. In preparation, Indivisible Missoula will be screening a powerful film and two PBS shorts on Wed., Dec. 10th from 5:30-7pm at the Missoula Public Library's Cooper Room B. ‘SUPPRESSED AND SABOTAGED 2024: The Fight to Vote’ is a tool in the arsenal of every concerned American, sounding the alarm on voter suppression and election subversion ahead of November 2026. The two short films are from PBS's "Civics Made Easy", which breaks down the complex world of American government and civic participation.
After the screening we will have a discussion and Q&A with a representative of the Missoula County Elections Office on Montana's elections procedures and regulations as well as challenges on the horizon. We will also hear an update on the Transparent Election Initiative that aims to end corporate dark money spending in Montana elections.
