About this Event
MiPASS invites you to an afternoon of film and discussion about the real challenges kids face in today’s digital world.
About the Documentary:
“Can’t Look Away” exposes how social media and online platforms have shaped youth behavior, attention, and vulnerability. Through interviews with experts, parents, and teens, the film explores what happens when technology is designed for addiction and what efforts are underway across the country to address these challenges.
After we screen Can’t Look Away, we’ll come together for a community discussion about what’s impacting our kids online and what tools and strategies can help families navigate it. This will be an open, supportive space for parents, caregivers, educators, and community members to connect around the challenges kids face online, to learn from one another - and how we can collectively respond to the challenges kids face online.
Come be part of a conversation that truly matters for our kids.
**** Enjoy complimentary subs, snacks, and refreshments during the event.
