The New Year’s Eve celebrations are right around the corner 🎆✨ But for many pets, the pops, bangs, and sudden noises leading up to midnight can be overwhelming and can create the perfect storm for escapes. Every year, shelters and rescues see a significant spike in lost pet reports on New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day.Join us from 11 am - 2pm Saturday December 27th for a pet loss prevention pop-up held at the Humane Society for Greater Savannah.
Whether you’re a pet owner, foster, pet care professional, or rescue partner, this is also a great chance to ask questions about how to keep pets safe and secure.
There will be:
🔒Safety equipment like slip leashes and backup clips provided by TRAPs (Limited quantities! First come, first served)
🐾 Microchip scanning to make sure your pets microchip is up to date, and if it's not, how to take care of that before NYE.
🐶 and 🐱 welcome! Please bring all dogs on a 6' lead and cats in carriers 💼
We hope to see you there at our first NYE pet safety pop-up!
