The ultimate team event. Get together with your friends, family or workmates for a bit of bonding.Race Day Schedule:
8.00 am Check-in and rack bikes
8.45 am Check-in closes (no late entries or check-ins after this time)
8.50 am Race briefing (ALL competitors MUST attend the race briefing!)
9.00 am Race Start
Following the race, a barbecue will be held, free to competitors. There will also be a small prizegiving (spot prizes only)
Race format:
200m Swim/6km Mountain Bike/ 1km Run repeated three times continuously.
Options:
Team Tag Tri – where each person does a complete triathlon before tagging their next team member on the beach.
Team Tri – where a specialist swimmer, cyclist and runner alternate, completing each discipline three times in the race order.
Loose cannons – you really want to do all nine stages alone, or get eight friends together to do a stage each (or some other combination)? Go for it.
