Generative AI is only as effective as the prompts behind it - and for communicators, knowing how to prompt strategically is quickly becoming a core professional skill. In this practical, PR-focused session, Marissa Bell, APR, will show how communicators can use the SPOCK framework (Specificity, Persona, Output, Context, Knowledge) to get clearer, more accurate and more usable results from generative AI tools. Through real-world examples - including a live walkthrough of using AI to draft content - attendees will learn how to apply prompting techniques across executive communications, messaging and content development. Participants will leave with immediately actionable skills they can use responsibly and effectively in their day-to-day work.NOTE: Attendees are encouraged to bring a laptop or other device with access to a generative AI tool. We encourage you to practice the prompts alongside the presentation.
