Featured Speaker: Adelina Nicholls, Executive Director, Georgia Latino Alliance for Human Rights
Since 2000, Adelina Nicholls has overseen, coordinated, and carried out the efforts to develop grassroots leaders and organizations within Georgia’s Latino immigrant communities in order to defend and advance Latinos' civil and human rights at the Coordinating Council of Community Leaders. Originally from Mexico City, Adelina studied sociology at the Autonomous National University of México (UNAM). Arriving to the United States in 1996, Adelina has dedicated herself to facilitate the creation of Comites Populares around the state and developed within a collective leadership among immigrants in the state of Georgia in the struggle for Human Rights.

Craig Rafuse is a master carpenter, a musician, and an activist who has been involved in performing music and theater for over 50 years.
CubanaSong Quintet performs a rich tapestry of rhythms, with vocal harmonies and a spirit of improvisation. From traditional Trova ballads to the many forms of Cuban dance music such as Son Montuno, Guarachas, Cha-cha-cha to modern Salsa, the Atlanta based group features a core of musicians from Matanzas, Cuba, home city of Danzon and Rumba. Sisters Judith and Lisset Rodés on vocals & percussion are joined by fellow Matanzas native, concertmaster Irina Vasquez on violin, Mick Kinney on piano and Elise Witt on vocal harmonies & percussion.
