PROM is a unique event where we transform historic locations for one evening, helping us showcase their history and their potential. Our goal is to ignite excitement about historic preservation in our community and to recognize the extraordinary people, projects, and leadership that make preservation an integral part of our community fabric.
The Power of Preservation Foundation funds hands-on repair projects across the city that combine education and community service. To date, we’ve helped repair and restore more than 200 homes and train more than 2,000 individuals via our programming and partnerships. Proceeds from PROM will be allocated towards supporting additional Living Heritage Trades Academy cohorts and community workshops; REHABARAMA; and the development of new youth-oriented programming that combines heritage and climate to develop the future local stewards and leaders of tomorrow.
