Class is in session, and it’s time to be dazzled! Join Allure Academy for Prom for a Cause, a burlesque fundraiser that combines rhinestones, tease, and a whole lot of heart—all in support of the Women's and Girls' Emergency Centre in Redfern.

• Best Dressed Contest: Extra credit for those who dress in their prom best — let's create a prom night to remember!

💖 The Lesson Plan:
This prom isn’t just about fun—it’s about giving back! All proceeds will go to the Women's and Girls' Emergency Centre, helping provide essential support to women and families in need. Profits from the ticket sales and raffle will be donated to WAGEC.

✨ The Women's and Girls' Emergency Centre is so important

At WAGEC we believe that violence against women is serious, prevalent and driven by gender inequality.

We also believe that violence against women is preventable and that there are ways we can

all help. Raising money in the community is one such way to support us: by fundraising for WAGEC, you’re helping to create safe spaces for women and children who have experienced homelessness and domestic violence. You’re also supporting women on their own journeys to financial independence, giving kids what they need to thrive, and nurturing our clients in their recovery from trauma.

Without your support, our programs that enable safe futures for women and children can’t go ahead. That’s why your fundraising efforts are so important and vital to our work.
