Join your Mockingbird Branch for a new school-aged event focusing on STEAM activities to get involved in each month. STEAM refers to science, technology, engineering, the arts, and mathematics and each Project STEAM session will focus on a single project illustrating one of these principles. At this session, guests are welcome to come and go as they finish the project where we’ll be supplying youth with the tools to make Vortex Cannons. Learn how to use simple household materials to build and test handheld devices that shoot rings of swirling air that can knock over lightweight targets.
